How this rating changed
Every rating this promise has carried, when it changed, what changed it, and which source was added at the time. The log is append-only: a rating is never overwritten, and a correction is recorded as an entry of its own rather than as an edit to an existing one.
A row that reads Correction in the From column means nothing was un-published. The old figure stays in the log so that anyone who cited it can see what changed and when, which is the whole point of keeping the log in the first place.
A rating that moved without a source arriving is a judgement rather than a finding. Requiring the link in this column is what keeps the two apart, and it is why the column cannot be optional.
No editor names. Attribution for a rating sits with PromiseTracker rather than with an individual, and in some markets naming the person who rated a sitting governor puts them at risk.
